Hi! I’m Vic,

I’ve always been drawn to things with a story, whether it’s a well-loved textile or a vintage treasure passed down through time. I love mixing cocktails, I go all-in for Christmas, and I find joy in the details that make life feel special. I’m a twin and a mom to twin boys, so connection, duality, and a little chaos are part of my every day.

Twin Folk grew out of my love for handmade craft, rich textures, and the quiet satisfaction of making something by hand.

My Story

Embroidery entered my life shortly after the birth of my twins. Amidst the chaos of that first year, I discovered the calming, meditative power of stitching. I began making whimsical ornaments. I kept stitching, and stitching. I signed up for holiday markets with no expectations. I was just excited to share my work and meet people. But I was blown away by the positive response. Grateful, I decided to turn my hobby into a larger project: Twin Folk.

I want you to fall in love with embroidery, too. The tactile materials, vibrant colours. Its ability to ease anxiety and promote mindfulness, and connect with others.

Every Twin Folk kit is lovingly assembled in our home studio

Our kits are handmade in Montreal. We print and hand-cut each piece of 100% cotton fabric, selecting only premium materials for the most delightful crafting experience.

We're also pretty proud to have plastic free packaging! 🌱

Community is at the heart of Twin Folk

Embroidery is more than stitches, it's connection, creativity, and a little bit of magic. ✨ At Twin Folk, we make space to slow down, craft with your hands, and feel part of something welcoming. Our kits are ready for beginners and seasoned stitchers alike, and our gatherings—workshops, Stitch & Bitch evenings, and Crafty Movie Nights—are about sharing laughter, stories, and stitches. As always, come as you are.

Our mission is to spread joy, creativity, and connection through the art of embroidery.
